    Factory Door Sill Nameplate XLR

Both of my sill inserts had the corrosion spots on them that appeared to be salt water spots. My V was a Florida car before I purchased it so I figured it wasn't road salt. I didn't have anything around the edges except some dirt that I was able to clean out with a scratch awl. The sill plate is...

    XLR-V Engine Name Plates

Rob, Below is a thread that was started about the build plate. Maybe ask your source if all the plates were located in the same place? Mike https://www.xlr-net.com/forums/cadillac-xlr-v/6294-if-you-have-xlr-v-who-built-your-engine.html

    The Weather Channel

It was a nice day for a top down run and I joined XLRATING for a cat and mouse run through the back roads. Now that was a lot of fun.:naughty: The more I drive Victor-V, the more I can't wait until the next nice day.

    big day for my XLR

Cabin air filter door I noticed in your pictures (nice set-up on the CAI :rocker:) that your cabin filter door behind your battery is hanging. Be sure to clip it back in place because I have seen several at the dealer with the filter door missing.

    big day for my XLR

The base XLR's are not equipped with baffles so "mild to wild" set up won't work......only on the V's.

    big day for my XLR

There is NO DRONE with the Corsa. I had JBA 3" exhaust on my Shelby and it was miserable to drive 35 mph and above. It sounded like you were in a 55 gallon barrel with drone and you couldn't talk to your passenger. After putting Corsa exhaust on Amy's XLR "Beauty", it sounded great and no...

    big day for my XLR

The Corsa exhuast system, by far, is the best upgrade to your XLR. I put one one my wife's '06 XLR almost 2 years ago and it is awesome. I'm fighting the urge to put one on my XLR V. I put Corsa exhaust on my '08 Shelby GT500 and again, awesome. :rocker: It seems the going rate from what I've...

Hey Rod, I'm so glad to see you are feeling decent enough to post. I hope all is going as well as to be expected. Hang in there, rest and get well. Speaking for myself and hopefully a good part of the XLR family, I (we) really appreciate all of your different postings throughout the day. I...

can i drive my 04xlr with the driver door open after a hit and run

I'm pretty sure the door being open has nothing to do with your shifting problem. The shift cable hooks to the shifter under the console and runs down inside the tunnel under the car. In order to get to the cable you have to remove the tunnel plate which has a dozens of bolts and you also need...
