    Daily Chat

Took Victor-V out yesterday for a nice run with XLRATING. :knuddel: I passed a Neon along the way and I apparently offended them.:chuckle :chuckle Once they built up their speed and caught back up to me, they rode my bumper (for a short while). We came to a red light and I had pole...

    Front Fender Side vent

I'm not familiar with any "factory flaw" you are referring to.:dunno: My wife has a '06 XLR base and I have a '07 XLR-V and ours don't have any factory flaws in that area.

    Front Fender Side vent

I'm pretty positive that is an aftermarket vent. The only vents that came on any XLR's was what Cubby said.....2009 and it was vertical on the front fender at the door.

    XLR decklid liner, part #19169562

Since Beauty has her bling under the hood, it's only fair to start working on Victor-V under the hood. :chuckle I contacted AJ at carmotorsports.com and sent some photos of what I wanted for under the hood. You can see the results below. I also installed a polished stainless fuse box cover from...

Help! A/C omits a “urine” odor

My wife's '06 had a musty smell from the A/C last year and it turned out to be the drain hose for the A/C was stopped up so the water was collecting in the passenger compartment. I had the dealer blow it out and the smell went away. I just checked my V and her XLR a couple of weeks ago to keep...

    butterfly valve

If you look at the mild2wild instructions, it shows the white plug to disconnect. Unplug it and see if it stays open. The only down side is.......DRONE on the highway. The best way to solve that problem is with Corsa exhaust which has ZERO drone. I put the mild2wild switch on my V because I...

    butterfly valve

The switch you are looking for is the mild2wild XLR version. Like Phrede, I leave mine open most of the time. This is what you need: MILD 2 WILD XLR Version I haven't noticed a difference in mpg. I drive it like a bat out of hell either or. Mike
