    GM did not resolve the n* oil leaks.they got better at sealing and changed the middle block oil distribution plate and it all helped. my 3 N*'s all leaked.oil pans on gm v8's are also prone to leaks. jmho :dunno: AL

    Trunk rubbing

    Mine doesn't rub on either tail light,I think your's is out of alignment.look at the left side and see if there's a wider gap than on the right? this will show it is out of alignment. it could also be the bumpers on lower outside edges of trunk, mine were all mushy and easy to replace.

    Do we have two diff. sizes? early yrs & later yrs? the top of the studs on my grommets meas.3/8ths of an in. they get a little thicker as you move down the stud.they are the same size for trunk divider/floor mats. I have a 05. :dunno: Al

    NO, the two screws are on the switch in the jamb of the door.just remove switch and unplug it,be careful not to drop the wire harness into the door. Al

    Hi Amy,Judy & I did the same a week ago,went for a nice 140 mi cruise all back roads. It was good to be out in the X again after several wks of bad weather.we got some good rain and it washed away the snow and salt.it's tucked away now, we're waiting for 6 to 10in storm tonight...

    Help! Trunk Lid

    Mine is an early 05 [sept 04].which has the gas struts. now I'm wondering when the change came in and are the 05 and up w/struts. must be other diff. in the system w/struts or without?? we need more input from others. Thanks, Al:dunno:
