The D3 intake will cause a MIL if not re-tuned on the LC3 motor... which is why they ship there little black box that plugs into the MAF... but as you said, I chose to have mine simply retuned instead.

25758220 is the correct part number for the 2006 XLR-V... I bought a 2nd set for my forgeline wheels... its the same one thats in the STS and Vettes as well from that year. :)

you might need to get your engine tuned... this is a common issue with XLR-V's with aftermarket CAI's... The CAI is possibly causing your engine to go lean, tripping a code... The only way to know for sure is to get an OBDII scanner to see what the code is.

For what its worth, the top gear guys *LOVE* both the new ZR1 and the new CTS-V [shrug]

You can do a lot of changes... richer mix... there's a supercharger bypass valve the can be disabled... more agressive transmission shifts... etc... You'd have to find a shop who has a dyno and experience tuning the northstar engine, along with the 4L80e transmission... Corvettes of Westchester...

Yes - if you want the trunk space, you will have to keep the top up... but this is true for all of the hard top convertibles in this catagory... arguably the SL has the largest trunk with the top down, but its still not "big" by any means and will most certainly won't fit a hard sided luggage...

You are mistaken. I drove my XLR-V across country (coast to coast) with my wife... we carried a 26" roller bag, and a 22" roller bag... two duffel bags, plus a 1st aide kid, fire extinguisher, and a racing helmet in the back. There was nothing "light" about our packing. I actually feel like...

I had to trim one of the flange tabs to get it to fit... but it wasn't a big deal. I ended up sending the ecu box back, and getting a dyno tune done instead... just a thought.

I would tie it down via the wheels... either over the tires, or thru' the wheels... that way the car is riding on its on suspension but still tied down securely.

Thats a great price... the only concern I would have is drone. The corsa guys are so obsessed about eliminating drone they have different resonators depending on transmission type since the idle RPM at cruise will be different depending gearing. The corsa set up I have in my V is completely...

I have my V exhaust sitting in my garage... I was trying to decide if I'd keep it or sell it after I installed my Corsa... I could sell it for the right price :)

My 06 V has it... its intended to be a coin box... its not very good, btw. :)

If you go throught them, you'll find that they all basically do the same thing... which is disconnecting the VSS wire.
