    Help! Window stickers

Mild to wild solenoid... Hello, can you tell me more about the solenoid, do you recall the part number? My car's M to W caused my exhaust flaps to stay in the spring loaded open position, the vacuum is now not pulling them closed. Any info would be appreciated, part number, valve location...

    Help! Exhaust module

Valve opening? Please see my note earlier on this, the valves on my V are open with the engine off, at 3500 rpm they open. You can push the valves closed with the engine off but when you release they will pop back open. (This is on my car anyway)

    Help! Exhaust module

Exhaust valve position I can't speak for all V's or Corvettes but MY '06 XLRV has the exhaust valve "flaps" in the open position when the engine is OFF, as soon as the engine starts and gets a bit of vacuum it closes the valves. I proved this to myself by using a poker of sorts and with the...

    Rear strut

XLR vs XLRV shocks As mentioned above the performance mode stiffens the shocks on the V, they are magnetic (magnaride?) shocks which the suspension control module can talk to. Just like on some Vettes if you are changing over to a standard shock you can but there is an electronic feedback...

    Help! Exhaust module

Corvette exhaust module Well, the Corvette module is physically identical to the XLRV module and seems to work the same as I can hear it's switch cycle when power is applied. However it did not solve my issue so next is the vacuum solenoid switch on the passenger underside which I do not...

    Help! XLR-V strange question

Winter storage Someone mentioned this good idea before: "as winter arrives and we store our toys remember to pop the hood release". Then if your battery goes dead no big deal lift the hood and jump start or charge it. If you can add a small "trickle" battery charger for storage of more than a...

    Help! Exhaust module

Exhaust module bypass switch wiring description? Wiring in a switch would be nice, I fried my module by installing a Mild2Wild controller. So my valves are also stuck open, I noticed while manually cycling these at the exhaust tips that the valves are spring loaded open, that explains why...

    Help! Exhaust module

Mild to Wild culprit FYI, I do believe the Mild to Wild controller can fry the "Exhaust Tail Pipe Control Module" (part#15839086). I believe this is what happened to mine, there are companies out there selling the module but at over $200 the flaps being open all of the time don't really sound...

    Mild 2 Wild Exhaust

Mild2Wild stuck open - fuse? Hi all, I installed the Mild2Wild a month or so ago and cycled it over a few day period and was enjoying the option of the baffles open now and then, however mine are now stuck open. I disconnected the M2W and hooked the original wire back together and it is still...

    XLR stuff for sale

Old tires may be a hassle FYI - some tire shops will not even look at tires over 8 years old, Discount Tire here in Indiana for example would not install, balance, or even look at the 8 year old tires for my XLRV - an entire extra set of unused tires came with the car, I thought that was...
