Regrettably, I must sell my XLR (aka "Susan"). This is a very well sorted out, low mileage 2005. See all the particulars and photos here:

Kind of out-of-the blue the leather wrap on my center console top is showiing crack lines. Leather is supple, so a bit perplexing. Any one seen one (shale color) for sale anywhere?

So, after much reading on the the crystallization problem wiht the DRL lenses (mine seemed quite severe), I decided to make an official inquiry.
1) A quick PM to CadillacCustomerService on this board got me a phone call from a Cadillac Service Rep the following day. He was a "wee bit"...
I recently used Dr Colorchip on a couple of road rash dings on the front bumper of my '05 (crimson pearl) and have to say I was impressed. Made a huge improvement from a normal viewing distance. After seeing mine, my wife had me order some for her arctic white Expedition.

I have been running without a front plate since I have been unwilling to drill holes in Susan's front bumper but am also required to display a front plate in my (and adjacent) state. How difficult is it to install this fold-down mount? Are there pre-existing mounting holes that you used or did...
My wife gave Susan to me for our anniversary last May. Top failed the day she gave her to me. Needless to say, a bit of a disappointment, but she still looked good with her top up. Only 13,000 miles at the time (now up to 16,000) so hopefully she has many years (and miles) left ahead.
So far -...
Glad to hear they sorted it out. Our 2005 Crimson Pearl (Susan) unlearned her trunk/top instructions twice before we replaced a sensor. Now her memory seems pretty reliable.
Hope Lola has a sharp memory as well.
