    FYI mine ISN’T for sale...

I would agree except now I keep getting contacted by folks who think I’m selling. Working on getting the person to take down a picture of not his car!

Fix for OnStar antenna falling down?

Thats not mine, just some jerk selling an ‘08 who stole the picture of my ‘06 to be eye candy for his piece of junk. We asked him to take it down & he didn’t respond, so we’re reporting him to eBay. Little bit of false advertising, huh?

    FYI mine ISN’T for sale...

Although some (fill in the blank) has “borrowed” my signature picture on here to use for their eBay ad ... come on kids, use your own pics ... even if it’s kind of a compliment.... make you own car look that good!

Fix for OnStar antenna falling down?

I should have posted a follow up but I wasn’t the one in charge :pat: ... It seems to be fixed well enough that it stayed on to BG, around BG, & back, & it’s hung on in some pretty high heat conditions. Mike ended up using this stuff:

Hello from New Member in Idaho

Watch the go pedal on those V’s - they can be like fly paper for tickets - all speeds feel the same in ours with the top up until you get over triple digits. Then the wind noise finally picks up....

Thank you - thankfully everyone is fine, plus it is truly a miracle that there was no significant car damage, & the only light that got broken is actually readily replaceable. I’m sorry that I didn’t have a chance to get to chat with you & Alison at the 15th Anniversary event. Hopefully our...

Hello from New Member in Idaho

Congratulations! Infrared is the best (& fastest) color. We too bought our XLR-V unseen, not sure I’d do that again but it all worked out. Enjoy & watch for those deer etc. crossing the road!

    Hello from the D

You would have to replace the whole headlight to fix that as far as I know - there’s not been much luck getting them apart without damaging them beyond use. ’04-05 had a problem from early on with “crazing” of the lens in front of the DRL (basically it looks burnt, because it’s pretty much...

    15 Year XLR Homecoming Pictues

Thanks to Sandy for sharing with us the idea for the below picture (it’s 2 piece & 3D in person), which we did through the guy who took all the pictures outside at NCM. It turned out pretty cool!

Yes, I seem fine to me! You hit the nail on the head, it was a lifted truck & the driver & I agreed that appears to have turned out to be a good thing. I think to improve my visibility I’m going to use this duct tape design to fix it:

Yeah, Mike said if it happened while he was driving it he would have just kept on driving & not come home! I guess invisibilty is just another super power of fast red cars! :chuckle

Thanks Rob. I’m definitely thankful (although still mad!) because things could have been much worse in a lot of ways.

So the joke’s on me... took my car in for inspection and as soon as I left I got rear ended while stopped at the very first stop light.:mad::mad: :bawling::bawling: Other driver pulled out of a fast food place behind me after I passed by (I was watching the vehicle to be sure it didn’t...

    Hello from the D

Read the owners manual (it’s on here in the Tech Center), be sure you know how everything is supposed to work & that it does. You probably know Northstars are good for a LOT of miles, so don’t worry about the miles on the engine. If you do any search on here, you’ll see to check the “bucket”...
