Hey guys, should have it up by tomorrow! I thought we were going to be able to post it tonight, but they guy is still uploading it. I think that the sheer awsome-ness of the video is making Youtube slow, lol.
For Advanced Speech we had to do a commercial. My partner and I decided to do it on Cadillac. It turns out that we ended doing it just on my dad's XLR. It is one SICK commercial. I will put the youtube link up on here as soon as I can. The first time I saw it was in class, and it was just amazing!
I am SO glad that football is back. But I hope basketball comes back (but if it isn't, I wouldn't know, I don't keep up on the whole lockout status thing...) But I think a lot of teams played well last weekend.
I had watched it as well because of the car, but when I actually watched it,I loved the movie, as a whole. Because of the car, it was just an added bonus. Such a great and inspirational story.
I don't think they mind making money off of it. And I remember hearing that the local Porsche Club has a brick, so they must be open to everybody I guess.
You know, maybe the letters stand for something different to everybody. Like if someone were to ask me, I say something like Xpensive Luxury Roadster. But others have posted saying that they say something different. It means something completely different to each and every one of us XLR...
I don't know if we could do it in black, so I kind of like the other design a little bit more. I like the quote, but my dad noted we would have to make sure that it is not copyrighted. I actually like both quotes.
I just showed the design to my dad and he thinks it would seem more accurate if we used the updated crest. When he saw the dates though, it kind of made him think we were making a tomb stone. And maybe use the correct block font for the XLR that the car has? To put the V logo in, maybe add it on...
I love the design, but one thing mentioned at Bloomington Gold was that maybe we could add the V Logo in there too? It would be great to incorperate that logo into the brick because the V was a big thing for the XLR's. It is just a suggestion.
