Well... To each his own BUT....
THIS info was right on the money... I purchased a wider wheels/tires and they are perfect. No rubbing, no issues, no drama. I don't have stock wheels. It goes on to mention 20" an higher. It's not just about stock, it's about what will fit.

I agree.......... I don't remember taking MPG into consideration when I purchased this new-aged hot rod....... Mileage isn't on the menu.

When I swapped out my factory tires I stumbled across an XLR tire range guide I'll see if I can post it to the site. It really helped be decide. It gives many different tires sizes but tells you how they'll fit... I.E. Wide, Extra wide etc. Also gives percentages...
Bridgestone drive Guard run-flats....
I just purchased a set of the DriveGuards by Bridgestone (2 weeks ago) and I have to admit they feel really good. I removed the factory Michelins which by the way still have quite a bit of tread left but I upgraded to a slightly wider wheel so I felt more...

I've had mine a few years now and this was the first year I actually used a battery maintainer. The previous years I started mine maybe once or twice a month and I'm in Illinois where the temps can actually dip into sub-zero range ad never had an issues so you're right...

I like it a lot BUT....
It's HOT but I'm afraid in order for me to be on board 100% they're gonna have to lose the soft top... It's HARD TOP or nothing at all for me. (There should never be a soft top XLR)
Hawkeye... The Thunder Gray one is mine but the black (Gizmo & Elwood) one next to me is about the loudest thing on the street, I kid you not. It sounds beastly.
