Also sorry to hear about the health issues. I'm the same size and could not agree with you more about the long distance comfort. For the cruise issue with overpasses, cleaning the plastic over the sensor seems to help avoid that on long trips.

Both of mine came off, the clip broke both times. First time I had to have replaced as it came off while driving in the rain. $75 painted and installed. Second one came off at a hand car wash. Super glued that back on and it has stayed on for 2 1/2 years.

Last one went for $27,250 but prices at auction have gotten better the last few months. Used car market is actually pretty good. We are getting 8-10% better at auction than we were in May. It could go to $30K. Gold package is all the trim on your car that is chrome is treated to be gold...

We popped another red 05 XLR today. This one has the full gold package and custom seats. Should make some kid happy.

I think Magnaflows generally offer the best sound for the buck. You can usually find good deals on them on E-Bay.
