Odyssey batteries can be purchased on-line. I bought one (check, the prices have quite a range) and was charged no shipping--they're heavy!!! So far it has performed flawlessly.

I believe they stopped adding the fabric after the 06 model. My 06 V had it my 08 V doesn't. Guess they decided to save a few bucks. :dunno:

Cubby, I bought the PC1200MJT, unfortunately there is no way to use our bottom clamp as the case is smooth. You have to go to an auto parts store to get an "over the battery" clamp. Other than that all is fine. Best price was TNR Technical, Inc. here in Fl, and you won't even have to pay sales...

Being the wheel is leather couldn't we use shoe polish??? A lot cheaper & easier than replacing the wheel--no?

They're brake shoes and I bought them on-line. If you need brakes try them. Stop fast, virtually no dust, and after a short time no squeak!!

Changed to "Red Stuff," screeched for the first couple hundred miles, then went away after they were seated. Another plus, they are virtually dustless!! Very happy with them.
