you really need to paint the bumpers off the car. you may not get enough base in and around the areas where they meet up wit the fender and !/4 and don't paint over your backup sensors or they may not work. they can only stand one painting before they loose their function.
unfortunately that is paint that is cracked all the way to the primer. At least it wont hurt anything and I doubt it will get any worse. never heard of any do it your self repairs on something like this. if you have a colors on parade company in your arear they can repair it about as cheap as...
for anyone reading this and needs any I have both used and I also have some new oem in stock. I can also tell you how to save a bunch of time and money on swapping them out if you get a really high estimate.
with worn out rings and leaky valves its most likely dropped from 10.5 to 9.5 by now on a well worn used engine. haha a good quality copper head gasket would most likely lower it to 10 to one but I really dont think its worth doing
yeah of all the parts gm dropped the ball on , taillights and headlights etc they seem to have made a zillion superchargers and still sell them at 2500 thru the dealer but ebay sold about 50-75 for 250$ -400$ I bought a couple just in case I ever get a tired V I can freshen it up cheap. I...
they used to be really good several years ago and their prices were very fair. they seem to ask top dollar now as in 200 for a top module? you can get them from the dealer new for under 700 but they do stand behind their products very well and I have never bought a bad part from them.
it attaches to the upright on the left of the cruise module and goes out to the bumper those two round christmas tree clips shown in the photo are what holds it on
it does not cover the cruise module. its just there to keep air towards the radiator. The person that shows one on ebay hardly ever has any parts that he claims. He just lists numbers and may or may not have them. On good thing is when you order and he has to refund your money it now costs him...
yep. I would disconnect the positive battery cable also. check the 3 ground locations and then reinstall the positive cable first followed by the ground cableat the battery when you get finished. make it a point to always do it in that order. when disconnecting at the battery disconnect the...
I agree . The cheaper 04 and 05 will not make up for the cost of parts that are specific to those two years . I think the best bang for the buck will be an 07 08 with reasonable miles Depends on how much you plan on driving it. The cost to put miles on it is rather cheap. brakes , hoses , most...
Rob under the registry pull down I went to updates and sent links there. About three weeks ago I ran across 4 or 5 for sale and none of them showed up on the registry when I checked to see what options they had.
If I knew it all I would not have went to get a hose to look at and find out why the one listed that it called for would not fit. you said you got the one in the photo and it would not fit and you could not get the correct hose anywhere. You said the dealer checked and there were none...
I see you get most of them that are listed on a couple of sites like the auctions for totals but I don't see them from craigslist ads. I have sent listings with vins several times but they did not get listed. Do you have to have permission on private sales to list them?
Don't waste time on this guy. I drove 15 miles in the cold and the rain to lay on the ground to pull that hose off a friends car t o send him and try and explain to him that the u is a flex joint and when you take it off the car it no longer has a U in it. There is only one hose with a banjo...
here is a nice looking 06 standard on BAt I think will do 18-19K and then it might surprise me
2006 Cadillac XLR for sale on BaT Auctions - ending January 23 (Lot #27,310) | Bring a Trailer
No you cannot get any parts for the door. The only way is to buy a used lid when they come available. If you pry apart the lid and do so without braking it ,you still cannot do anything but take the latch out. The latch is molded together and does not come apart.
