    Considering Selling

Sounds like you plan on selling her, just deciding between now or next spring. There is some benefit selling a car with a CPO, but I had greater comfort in reviewing the history of repairs previously accomplished. Put it up for sale now and see what happens. I don't drive mine very often either...

    Melted DRLs

Can't help you on that, but after replacing mine I am very consistent in turning off my DRL's every time I drive. Bruce

Some May Find This Interesting--I Did

I agree, AWD & launch control helps a immensely. Besides, win or lose would you rather have a Nissan, or a Corvette? Yeah, I'll keep my Corvette. Bruce

    Odd tire wear

Don't know how many miles you have, but unless there was an accident I wouldn't anticipate anything being broken. I would check the alignment and put the cupped tires in the rear, that doesn't work if you have a V. Shoot, I forget my specs, but I'm close to -1 degree camber lots of caster, and...

    Odd tire wear

My experience is camber alone would not cause cupping, I run a lot of negative camber in my Corvette with no cupping (inside wear yes). But it does sound like it could be an alignment issue. It would be nice to ensure you have the problem fixed before throwing new rubber under her. Bruce

    Spotting window trim

Krytox, really? And it's not greasy? It seems to be more of a lubricant than a protectant. I have good luck using Adam's SVRT, but always interested in what others use. Bruce

A Killer XLR, no wait, a XLR owned by the Killer

Hah, I just spent two weeks down in Southhaven, wish I had seen this, the Cad dealer was just down the street. Well at least they aren't asking some astronomical mark up because of it's past celebrity ownership. Bruce

Looking at a V, need advice.

I agree. I almost bought a very low mileage & beautiful XLR, ran the service history and couldn't get away fast enough. I wound up buying a very beautiful XLR for much less with a clean service history. Your price sounds very nice.Good luck with it. Bruce

    Looking for replacement headlights

Mine are from an '05, and they have some melt, but they are better than many sets I saw on other cars. Bruce

    Looking for replacement headlights

I have a used set, far from perfect, but better than many I looked at. I'll let them go cheap if yours are in bad shape. I will send pics first if you are interested. Bruce

    Cheapest site for service parts

My dealer has me pretty spoiled, or well trained, but I have heard mostly good things about GMPartsDirect, just watch shipping charges. Bruce

    Remember this?

"Joy Ride" was another great movie about truckers and CB radios and other deranged individuals. But it didn't have that song in it... Bruce
