I'm having some oil leaks fixed by a local corvette mechanic I've used for years. My 04 is seeping from the can covers. He can't find gaskets for them and when he called the local dealer they couldn't find anything either. I can't imagine. Does anyone know what parts to use to stop the cam...
All Xlr's are wired for XM. Mine didn't show up on the screen since it didn't have it. When I plugged a lock pick module into the wiring cubby is talking about it showed up on the screen and has worked ever since.
I had my radiator changed years ago. It wasn't bad. As I recall $425 for the complete job. I took it to a local radiator shop. That was for a new radiator, antifreeze and the install. They installed the new V radiator. Haven't had a problem since.
I had this exact same problem. Turned out to be the water pump. Every time I would shut the car off and let it set for for five hours I would have a puddle under the alternator. The bearing in the water pump was slightly worn and it was cooling off and dripping out of there running down the...
My 04 had the rotors changed every 10000 miles by the dealer. I did some research and found this was because of warping. When it started lugging on me because of warping I replaced them with drilled and slotted rotors I got online for $225. That was for 4 rotors and ceramic pads. 3000 miles...
I bought some and love them. Much better than stock. Stock rotors warped every 10000 miles. I've had 20000 and no problem. The zinc coating is great also.
I bought a used fob on eBay. Programmed it and it didn't work. Ironically, if I put it in the slot in the glove box it will start the car. I had it tested and it is transmitting. All buttons work. But it will not do anything unless it is in the slot. It does have a new battery also. I never have...
I was fortunate enough to have bought the coastal tech lock pick while they were still available. It has worked flawlessly for years. Very happy with it although I wouldn't care it it was controlled with the head unit or not. It is a lot easier to control music through the iPhone than the XLr...
If you find one bad I found them on ebay for $566 each. Not a pittance but a lot less than the dealer. Took me about an hour to replace. Very easy job.
