My escalade did the same thing. It even felt like the tranny was slipping. It ended up being a rear wheel sensor for the ABS. I guess the computer thought the wheel was spinning and reduced power. New wheel sensor and its fixed now.

I bought a bluestar last year. Same problems. Dead battery, connects sometime, sometime it doesn't. disconnects sometime, sometime it doesn't. many firmware updates. a lot of my time. Don't waist your money, or you will waist your time. I really wanted it to work but I finally sent it back.

GM sells a product called krytox. They can get it at the parts Dept. I learned about it from the Allante club. It is expensive but it works wonders.

I have nitto's and are thrilled with them. Ride is better than the run flats and the price was less than half.

My x has developed a belt chirp. Mainly in the morning. It seems to go away as you drive for a while. It sounds like crickets. I had new belts last year. Any idea what to look for?

Mine has always done that. Every time the button is pressed.

It wouldn't be antfreeze. The XLR's is red. If your shock leaks enough you will get a notice on the DIC about it. My shocks were damp when I bought the car 3 years ago. they still are and no problems, drives fine, no codes. I wouldn't replace them unless the ride suffers. If one is leaking...

A lockpick would be good for that. It has a audio in that is switched on by hitting the Xm button twice. Works great for iPod input too.
