Low oil level display. Thanks, hdduane. I have to check it again. I noticed when the car is sitting all night and I check the oil level, in the morning, manually, nothing appears on the dip stick, but if I start it up and let it run for a few minutes then shut it off and let it sit a while...

Low oil level display I started the car , let it run for a few minutes then waited a few minutes. The oil stick showed a little bit below the full mark. Looks like maybe half a court low??

How accurate is the low Oil Level indicator that appears on the dash display? A quart low? Also I received a status from On-star 15 days ago and it indicated that I had 87% left before oil change, yet now 15 days later I get the low oil level indicator display?
