    There used to be a listing of cars that were never sold and destroyed as fleet vehicles or pre production models. I can’t find it now but if we could find it the registry could be updated to indicate they are no longer in circulation. In 2008 Vs I recall around cars 2-10 were destroyed.

    Rear valves exhaust for V.

    Had same problem. Couldn’t fix it for the life of me trying to lube that gate piece. I should have just dusconnected the vacuum line since I put on a Corsa exhaust which is louder than the exhaust with it wide open. I found no way to fix that rattle. Sorry. AR

    "Engine Hot AC OFF" on DIC. Temp gauge sweeps then stays at pointing to far left.

    Bill As others have reported this is often fixed by thermostat replacement or engine temperature sensor but not always. It occurs because your engine temperature is actually colder than what is expected based on time, engine speed, etc. calculated by the ECU. The mismatch throws the code...

    I’m looking for a shale / ebony driver seat cover for 2008 XLR V Black Raven. Thanks. I have a pre-production 2008 V and it's great. The few problems I've had are probably already mentioned in these threads but I've been able to get fixes on all of them. Biggest problem was the engine overheat...
