They are on the ends of the front leaf spring. Have a rubber pad that rests on the lower suspension arm. Onboard of the wheel hub. Jack it up and take the wheel off, you should see it easy enough. I figure a good pot hole could do it since I have had 3 broken on mine over the last 7 years and...

I ran 255’s on all four corners of my V for a while. Didn’t have any rubbing issues but every once in a while I would get a suspension error code on the DIC. Not sure if I like the look of the thinner tires on the front but that’s my opinion.

Chrome V rims were offered as an option in 08. Might be available from dealer still?? After market swap is available. I got aftermarket centers for my rims off ebuy, they look like originals.

You really need a tech2 to read the codes but could be as simple as a glitch and a reset will make it go away or ride height sensor, wheel bearing or BCM module?

Hey, I have the same one XLRV

I’ve had one in my XLR since 2012. Very nice install. Looks very clean. Yes it always stays in place. Only thing I would recommend is to see if you can have it made about 1” taller. The top edge of it cuts right across the rear window when looking in the rear view mirror.

Probably just the pump since the overheat thermistor is in the pump. You can have it rebuilt for a reasonable cost.

if the shocks are leaking, is the leakage visible from under the car looking up at the shocks? Yes, you will see a dark gray grease type substance on them.

I did the same install myself about 4 years ago with a pioneer nex 7200. Looks and works assume.
