One of the best things I did back in 2013 when I got my XLR was to put film on the headlights.
To get around the import fees, you have to declare them to customs before you ship them out of the country. No import fees on returns just imports.
There is a company listing them on aliexperess. I ordered a set and all I got was an offer to buy one used export version tail light. (Exports have orange turn signal lights)
No new ones out there yet.
Ya, I never understood putting the hub mounting bolt behind the lower ball joint nut. If the engineer twisted the hub 10 degrees, you wouldn’t have to separate the upper or lower ball joint to change the bearing and would take 20 min.

Maybe you could use the 04 housing with some modifications to fit the 07 electronics? The difference is the 07 has headlights that turn with the steering. The 04 doesn’t.
I ran the wiring for rear camera down drivers side tucked under the door trim/carpet edge. It’s open into the truck past the door opening. Than ran along the wire bundle along drivers side of the trunk to the truck lid hinge. Up the hinge following the factory wire bundle. Bit of work but you...
Pressing it should open the truck and raise it like pressing the inside button or key fob button. Take it out and clean it like the door pads. part number 84190614 is different from door pads.
Drivers side sensor is just below the start button.
System uses a foil roll with holes in it that wined back and forth till the proper patch with the holes for the selected function are aligned.
