Is the door lock/unlock button stuck in the unlock position as you mention? It’s a rocker switch and should return to center when pressed. If it’s stuck in unlock, it might be causing problems.
My 07 does it once in a while, usually related with hitting a pothole (which is practically impossible to not do in PA). Goes away on restart. Thinking it could be a sensor starting to go bad or suspension bushings getting old with odd twisting of the chassis.
I put an Odyssey 34-pc1500t in my V last year. It will fit without modification even though it’s not listed by manufacturer. Really holds a charge, especially if you car sits for days. You should be able to find one online for under $300 delivered.
I put a pioneer AVIC 7200 NEX in mine several years ago.
Gained Bluethooth, HD Radio, backup camera. Lost the HUD data from the radio, outside temp display and voice control.
Select the ACC position on the ignition switch.
Simultaneously press the keyless entry transmitter lock and unlock buttons until a double horn chirp sounds, indicating the TPM learn mode has been enabled.
NOTE
Important
If a horn chirp does not sound after 15 seconds using either tool, repeat...
Wish I had that pic when I pull my dash panel out first time. Word of warning, don’t drop the sun load sensor down into the dash. It’s a PITA to get back out, like having to pull the instrument cluster.....
Really not that hard of a job once you do it once.
I’ve got 204000 on my 07v.
Things I’ve dealt with:
Shocks
Spring adjusters
Wheel bearings
Power steering pump
AC compressor
Window regulator
Fuel gauge float
These parts are generally available. It’s the XLR specific parts that are going to get you.
Welcome aboard.
