    Front Tonneau Cover Switch

If you haven't already tried this, disconnect your battery over night and see if that helps. You may want to consider getting a Tech2 or finding a friend close to you that has one. Where are you located, I could help if your close.

    Front Tonneau Cover Switch

All things being equal, if you could put the new one in the exact same position as the old, the system would not know the difference. Are you sure the switch is bad, maybe it just needs a relearn. You didn't say if the trunk will open and close from the trunk switches and I assume since your...

    Help! Cd head

I purchased the radio/cd changer brand new still in the original packaging from a company called Replacement Corp., they advertised on ebay. It was for a 2006 SRX but looked exactly the same as our radio cd unit except the buttons on the right side of the screen did not have any lettering on...

    Tires

I replaced my original 255/40 rears with 265/40 for the same reason, to fill in the space a little better. My car is a V so they are 19's but I don't think that matters. I notice no difference in handling or the speedo, it's not much of a difference but it does look a little better. I would be...

Brakes sticking when warm (solved - pedal interference)

Easy mistake but that's why I suggested starting the engine, then you know everything should be operational. While running you can see real numbers. If you goggle 'Tech2 manual' you'll find one.

Brakes sticking when warm (solved - pedal interference)

First I don't think you are supposed to plug it into the wall outlet when it's plugged into the OBD, it gets it's power from the car. Assuming you followed the manual and did the initial hardware installation you should be good to go. I would start the car then turn on the Tech2 and try it...

My wife and I lived in the downriver area our whole life until we moved to Florida and we miss the boating from our back yard in Grosse Ile but we don't miss shoveling snow. We have already made two trips back this summer visiting family and friends. Good luck and let me know if I can help.

Brakes sticking when warm (solved - pedal interference)

It's a Chinese clone and looks just like the original, it came with the GM card, Candi interface and TIS 2000. I purchased it on EBAY, I think it was a company called "cartooldeal", google that and you should find it. I paid $312 total delivered and so far it works fine for what I have wanted to...

Brakes sticking when warm (solved - pedal interference)

You need to identify the real problem, that's why I said a professional or someone that knows these newer systems. I always do it myself when I know what i'm doing but my fear is your problem is the ABS controller or some other module. The last thing I want to do is pretend to know what i'm...

Brakes sticking when warm (solved - pedal interference)

I agree with Mickeytee, brakes are nothing to "experiment" with when you really don't know what's causing the problem. Your temporary/ permanent fix sounds questionable, this may be a time to bite the bullet and leave it to the professionals. Safety first.

    Mild to Wild

I just bought a cheap switch and wired it into the exhaust control module, it works just like a mild to wild. Search "mild to wild" there are instructions some where in there that tells you exactly how to do it. I mounted it under the dash and ran the wire under the door sill back to the module...

    Fault codes - P2176 and P1516

I have a Tech2 but it was not necessary, once I had a good connection problem solved.

    Fault codes - P2176 and P1516

I have the supercharged version so the throttle body is in between the firewall and the supercharger and hidden from view. On the 4.6 in your car I believe it's on the front of the engine so you should be able to see the connector once you remove the beauty cover.

    Cyliner head removal 2004 4.6

I had a leaking heater core in my 2007 V and it completely saturated the passenger side insulation under the carpet. It was like that when I bought it so I don't know how long it was leaking before the previous owner knew about it. I would think you could smell it and it is a long shot but it's...
