I believe they are called left and right valance (air dame) they mount under the front bumper. I have the center piece but I need both ends. Any help?
Thanks,
Dennis
You have to try everything, what do you have to lose. There is always the chance it's defective, it sounds like you're doing everything right. Good luck
I think you need to remove the windshield post covers first, the drivers side has the microphone in it so be careful removing the wires. My memory is a little fuzzy on this but I believe you need to remove the center stack face plate because there is a screw holding down the dash cover by the...
I have found that a lot of the problems with my car were due to loose wire connections, I would start there before you spend any more money. Inspect and clean every wire connection you can find, including grounds. Even if it doesn't help you will learn a little more about your car. Good luck...
There is a factory reset for that on my Tech2 but I have a V so it doesn't apply for my car. I believe it's in the BODY section. If you have a Tech2 you may be in luck.
The only thing I can suggest is get the rear end off the ground, get under the car and manually move the shifter arm at the trans and make sure it's not a shifter cable adjustment problem.
This may not help you but in the year and half I have owner my XLR V I have found most of the problems I have had were related to loose connections. It's worth checking out. Good luck
Yes, there are two and they are on the right side of the shifter. If you look in that area while you try to press the rod on the top of the shifter you will see how it tries to move a small plastic piece but is held up by another piece, there is a small rod there if you slide it forward then you...
Dan, Is the reason you can't shift out of park because you can't pull the trigger on the shifter? When you push on the brake do you hear a clicking at the base of the shifter, if not that could be your problem. There is a safety switch that when energized releases the trigger allowing the...
I agree with rexster, I purchased a Tech2 a few months back and have used it to do a relearn on the column calibration and it worked fine without TIS. I did try to load it but failed, it would seem even our three old moth balled computers still are too new to get it done.
Make sure all the air dampers are wide open, I know mine makes more noise when they are closed. Actually the motor/fan is not too hard to get at, above the passenger floor there is a cover plate under the dash that comes off fairly easily and then it's just 3 screw and a wire connector. It has...
