    I had a 96 and 99 Northstar Cadillacs. Both used about a quart every 1500 miles. Currently have 2 2006 and a 2008 with no oil consumption. I think they finally figured it out.

    The two center pipes has the exhaust flaps. Open your trunk - the compartment on your left.

    Welcome to xlr-net. It sounds like the exhaust flaps are staying open. With the car running, look inside the in board pipes and see id they are closed. If they are open, look inside the drivers side rear pocket and check the connection box - three wires and make sure wires are connected...

    I was thinking the BCM stays active when the fob is left in the car. I know it dies on the Corvette and will kill the battery in a short period of time.

    I don't think you would want to leave a key in the car. Probably kill the battery over night and not very secure.

    I took the engine cover off and still don't see it. I looked back toward the firewall and on the passenger side. Nothing on the valve covers. Dave
