Mecum had a number of ‘04-05 XLR’s on the block this week. A Newman Marcus, #94 with 65k miles sold for $25,300. Pretty good given the miles. Next highest was 17k, two others at $15k and one at 13k. Not all had miles listed, one of the 15k ones had 36k miles. So there you have it.

It was made by a German company called Car Top Systems. If you google “Car Top Systems”, you’ll find it was bought out by Magna International in 2005 and is now called Magna Car Top Systems. Looks like you might find contact info for that co. if you work through the google results. Good luck!

Thanks! In trade for that, you might find this video useful: YouTube. It shows how to stretch the dash leather with a heat gun; that then gluing might do the trick. Happy to let you be the guinea pig! ;)
