crimson's terminals are the opposite of mine. i think 06 and up are considered "reversed" terminals thus the 34R the oem battery tray was supposedly a smidge too big for the odyssey battery. when i installed mine, it would have been fine in the original battery tray. so actually no modification...

you have settings in the options for driver 1 and driver 2, options like auto unlock all , pathway lighting, seat position return, flash lights at lock and unlock, etc. find the settings regarding door locking and turn them all off. that way the only time your doors lock is if you lock them...

maybe a setting regarding auto door lock and auto unlock ??? have you tried specifically unlocking the doors prior to pressing the door button?? there are several settings that could have gotten switched around when all the settings went bad.
