Air Intake Easy installation I assume. Someone removed due to error messages . Wouldn't want to do it if it mixes up the car. Anyone else that sees this has it on their base XLR (2005).

I just saw the XLR store on this site. Can anyone tell me anything about the High Performance Air Intake they sell ? If it is an easy install ...does it mix the car up at all ? Worth doing ?

Thanks Bruce. It does look easy enough and I see I can do it without lifting the car so no problem. I called the GMpartscenter and the parts are discontinued. Called my local Caddy /Chevy dealer and has the links in stock but the V sway bar is discontinued...after a lot of persistence, I finally...

Bruce, Were you the person that told me about the rear V sway bar being easy to install without lifting the car ?I remember someone telling me that and showing me pictures of it installed after painting blue. Can't find it on here. Thanks, Brad

Thank You, appreciate it. While I have you, now that I know my DVD player works but the map DVD doesn't, is it safe to try a copy that someone on here offered me. I really have no experience with DVD players at all. Can it hurt the system or just not work ? Thanks Rob. Brad

Just found an unwrapped XLR Experience DVD in the glove compartment . I put it in and it played the XLR "film". The map DVD is extremely scratched up. Seems only the disc is bad not the player.

I'm sorry but you lost me....if I try another DVD movie and it works then just the map DVD is bad I thought and the car is fine ?
