I had this happen a couple times and thought that my fob button was being pressed in my pocket. I purchased a fob jacket (had to order one for a Corvette that fits) and after installing it have never had it happen again.

I got started using Krytox on my Allante and now use it on my XLR. At the dealer it is around $60.00 a tube, I bought my tubes on line for 22.00 a piece. It really does a good job on your weather seals. I have been told you also can get it at Dive shops as they use it on diving equipemnt seals.

With the miles on that car I do not think you can get a GMPP warranty. If they include a warranty and it is not a GMPP it will not cover the top!! I would really check the service history good before buying an XLR without coverage on the top.

In Fort Worth we have hit 100+ for the past 20 days and if we are lucky by Sat our high will only be 99!!

Found mine today and compartment was dry. From under car found a hole in bottom of compartment but it does not have a tube or anything on it--just a drilled hole in the compartment.

I had a problem with my 07 XLR with the Lear system not opening my door. After a call to Lear (Cadillac Customer Service provided number) they sent me a receiver to adapt my door opener to the Lear System. Works great now. This was done at no cost to me.
