    Newbie Question

And I'm sitting here (as a smoker, who flips the butts out the window) thinking to myself... there's an ashtray... Now I have to go out to the garage (detached and across the yard) to try and find the ashtray... IN THE RAIN... Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

    Help! Exhaust Bypass Switch

Everything works completely stock when the switch is off... The only reason why I installed it is because sometimes I like to hear the roar and rumble when chugging around town... and it makes the guy in the Z06 wonder what I've got in there... :rocker:

    Help! Exhaust Bypass Switch

All Done... $3.99 Okay... as promised, here's my follow-up... I spent $3.99 on a basic toggle switch and installed my exhaust by-pass switch. After trying to determine the best place for the switch I discovered there is enough clearance behind the black hinge cover plate inside the center...

    Help! Exhaust Bypass Switch

I've been continuing to research the situation and realize all work needs to be done in the driver's side trunk panel... What I'm hoping to get is a wiring diagram or picture of what wire gets bypassed with a toggle switch to disengage the vacuum pump that closed the butterfly...

    Help! Exhaust Bypass Switch

I've seen a couple of exhaust bypass switches on the market that would allow me to manually open the butterfly valves on my inner pipes (just cause it sounds cool.) Does anyone have access to the wiring diagram that would allow me to "cut" a wire and add my own switch? Just doesn't seem like...

How can I remove label glue residue from visor

I pulled the same stunt on a car a few years back and ended up taking the visor off the car and using an iron to remove the adhesive. use a paper towel or clean cloth between the iron and the visor and the adhesive will lift into the cloth... make sure you change the paper towel often because...

    V- upgrade

Definitely recommend a car upgrade rather than a re-model. Given the will you can find a V at a non-V price. I just picked up my 2006 <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comCPO</st1:stockticker> V for $42K a solid $10K less than the going rate in my area… the deals are out...

News: Corvette and XLR show (party too!) 9/25-26/2009

Looks like great fun. I am curious on two things, I see a shiney intake on a RED XLR-V and am curious as to which intake that is and also, I see a front license plate mounted under what looks like the same car... have you had any issues with the police with your plate mounted that way. My NJ...

    Welcome new members

New Member in NJ I picked up my 2006 XLR-V from a dealership outside of Philly last Saturday (9/19/09.) She is CPO until May 2012 with 20,000 original owner miles. I searched for about a year until I found the right car at the right price and never expected her to be a V. I'll be spending...
