Great to have another black xlr on here I say stop thinking about D-3 and start acquiring it. I personally don't want the volume of the corsa etc.. exhaust, but if you want the noise, many love it. I have D-3 stage 1 and 2 with their tune module and love it. I commented on a different post here...

Just looked at the link for the vette exhaust, looks like the v exhaust too, with the valves that open.

I absolutely love the sound of the v exhaust. you don't have to be judicious with the throttle either, it only opens around 3500 rpm. You have a hard time even getting it to open up, other than wfo! I have considered the mild to wild switch but so far haven't went for it. can't comment on the...

I doubt many people want to make a trip to "far flung destination" with the top down. Its a cadillac after all, quiet, comfortable etc.. I figure you travel with the top up and unload, then the top stays down for a while.

Heading from Kansas to Kentucky Tuesday I saw a black xlr around Springfield Mo. and on the was back I saw a charcoal CTS-v. 2 cars I never get to see on one trip. :) And of course the lady in the convenience store asked if that was my NEW corvette.

It didn't just appear and I would bet my last dollar that whoever did it knows it!!:mad:
