07 XLR V wire colors for the throttle body?

I think I found the reason for the disparity. Here is what I have for a '05 with a 4.6L. It looks like the wire colors changed from '05 to '06.

07 XLR V wire colors for the throttle body?

Mine is a screenshot taken from the service manual for an '07. Not sure where the difference came from. Never found any errors with the schematics. Not sure what to say. Could there have been a change from '06 to '07??

07 XLR V wire colors for the throttle body?

I think maybe it was the dealer wouldn't help. Hope this helps. I loaded the 4.6L at first then realized my mistake and changed the pic for one for the 4.4L. The one with pin numbers is 4.4L v. the one with pin letters for the 4.6L

Cadillac XLR-V Engines in Used Condition Now for Sale in GM Inventory at Powertrain Company Website

Way more than just swapping the engine. The shape of the new hood would give it away on all but 09s.

    XLR Numbering

I believe 3015 is in error. There were not anywhere near that many made. I don't believe were never any plans for that many either. VINs are always sequential. It is simply a mistake, there have been a few known errors in the registry.

    XLR Numbering

It should be mentioned that base models and Vs shared the same VIN pool every year. FWIW, In 2008 there were 1150 base models and 392 Vs made. So the last one made in 2008 had a VIN ending in 1542.

    MP3 / iPod

The filter works great and solved the issue completely. All the levels (FM/WX/CD/AUX) now match without any issues or noise. Audio quality is CD+ and much better than XM or FM. The AUX may be a little higher but I could adjust the amp gain to get an exact match. Everything fits inside the...

    MP3 / iPod

There is not a lot of extra room, but it does fit. Quick taps for the initial connection, everything else is soldered and shrink tube. My center console power socket is switched, just like the one near the drink holder, not aware of the jumper you're referring to. It is a delayed off and...

    MP3 / iPod

I ran the power for the LGB-1 from the same points as the BTC455 (behind the armrest power socket). The amp did the trick for getting the levels up but did create a small amount of whine (ground loop?) noise that is noticeable during dead air times (between songs). I can't notice it at normal...

    BlueStar

Good luck. Many have tried many different things for many years. Be sure to not get sucked into the thinking that what works for a Corvette will work on an XLR. The best working solution to add bluetooth (including A2DP) so far is the BTC455. If you choose to go with the blue star unit...

    Run flat tires

Facts are facts no matter what the circumstance. My comments were intended to offer an opinion regarding the accuracy of the other comments and for any reader to recognize that there is disagreement and further research is justified.

    Run flat tires

With non-stock wheels ANY width is possible provided the offset is enough and you are willing to tolerate rubber hanging outside the fender. My point is that without changing the 61mm stock offset, which the link does not mention at all, exceeding 255 is asking for trouble. Ignoring any of the...

    Run flat tires

I wouldn't trust that info. Many have found out the hard way that widths wider than 255 on stock rims have a high risk of rubbing.

    Run flat tires

I gave up on poor performing run-flats long ago. I have a plug kit and a small compressor and a cell phone to call emergency road service. The ride and performance gains are well worth the risk to me. It's been decades since I've had anything other than a slow leaker on any vehicle. That's...

Proud XLR owner with a problem

There is WAY more to a battery tender than a simple power supply. While the value of pulse, sometimes with reverse polarity, desulphication routines may be debatable, strict electronic voltage and current monitoring and regulation are not. Personally I'm not going to plug in some wall wart...

    MP3 / iPod

The way I understand it from his web site is the AUX-2 does keep the XM function but requires you to unplug from the jack for the XM audio signals to pass through. It is certainly worth checking. I would be surprised if it has XM1 -XM2 switching functionality since it is basically snaging the...

Yep. And is that a wing too!? I'm curious now to see more pics. Sometimes the most undesirable things can be entertaining.
