    MP3 / iPod

No, nothing like that at all. Depending on which interface you bought, assuming you did buy a Ray Kawai interface, you will lose XM functionality, or will need to plug the Bluetooth interface in when wanting to use it and unplug it when wanting XM. It could be done by modifying the interface...

    Do you see XLRs??

I wonder if he believes it has a V-16 or if he is just a chronic liar/poser?

    MP3 / iPod

There is no physical connection between your phone and the car or the Knivo unit so it doesn't matter. It does matter where you connect the power for the Kinivo unit. I strongly recommend connecting to a switched source of power that is off when the ignition is off to prevent battery drain...

This link provides a lot of info on a good bluetooth solution. https://www.xlr-net.com/forums/cadillac-xlr-technical-discussion/7948-mp3-ipod.html?highlight=bluetooth

    Test your Mechanical Knowledge.

According to whom? Don't remember seeing this in any service manual.

    BlueStar

In order to answer your question the date when they changed the design is needed. Mine was "new and improved" according to them when I bought it.

Proud XLR owner with a problem

I too am a believer in "micro jump" devices and have one. I chose one with more high end features albeit more expensive. When I first heard about these devices I was hesitant to believe in their capabilities. After seeing them work I now own one.

Proud XLR owner with a problem

Not sure what the dealer was thinking. I couldn't tell you how much pure rubbish I've heard from dealers and their service departments. Starting the car for short periods every 3 or 4 days is hardly desirable and could be detrimental in and of itself. Keep in mind that there is a huge...

Proud XLR owner with a problem

IMHO Leaving the hood open when using a maintainer is being extremely overcautious and not needed. I keep my maintainer connected and running in a closed garage and covered. I understand the concern of hydrogen gas discharge and accumulating under the hood. Many things effect the amount of...

    Tow Hooks and Black Bag

Am I missing something?? It looks like a common forged eyebolt that should be available from a fastener / bolt retailer once the thread and length are known.

    Battery keeps running down

I have proven many times that if I keep the fob near or in the car that the battery reserve is greatly diminished. I believe that the cars systems stay in a different state of readiness and therefore the parasitic drain is increased.

    Do you see XLRs??

Side vents were on all 2009s from the factory.

A cross between a Corvette and a Cadillac (not an XLR)?

I think I am smelling some Chevette.

    Something different

This is not the OEM Passion Red (74U) as seen on 250 2007 base models. This is some custom orange color (I agree, Persimmon). I see lots of quality/fitment issues. Headlight to bumper gaps, rocker to fender alignment, etc. I do see some orange peel. There is puckering on the interior door...

    Something different

Not for me. I suspect wheel spacers on the rear, probably after they discovered a rubbing problem with 295/35 tires. SMH

OMG! You mean water will actually freeze outside? Try dealing with below zero on the Fahrenheit scale, it is way more fun :)

    BlueStar

Good luck. I ended up removing mine. I'll live with the very small sized push button unit for a quality system that works.
