Not a lot available in matching tires in the proper sizes for the V. Forget run flats, I don’t think anything is available. I found my front lower tension pulley broken at the mounting bolt a few years ago. I think it lead to a failed power steering pump and pulley assembly.

Canadian export XLR’s were configured so the DRL’s could not be turned off. USA cars can be turned off by turning the headlight stuck switch backwards. I would image you could just disconnect the wires going to the switch but I have not researched this aspect.

You really have to read the codes, could be hundreds of things. Some auto parts stores will read them for free.

Common leak point is above the headliner from the latch at the windshield. Headliner will soak up quite a bit before you will notice it. Pump would leak into the bottom of the well that it is in. Maybe leak out the hole in the bottom?

Usual problem areas are the ground posts on the frame behind each rear wheel.

Check the grounds. Just about every glitchy problem we have with these cars is a ground problem.

Have you replaced the trunk support struts. They are cylinders like the hood struts that off set the weight of the truck lid. Found on each side below the hing assembly.
