    Help! Door won’t unlock

Sorry to hear that, did you get a breakdown of the costs, parts verses labor, if not, demand one and let us know. Believe me I know these cars are expensive to work on but that just sounds wrong.

    CD changer replacement

I do have some sounds coming from either the radio or cd changer after I power down, but they do time out. I don't think it's any different than it was before I changed the cd changer. Good luck with the BT45, keep us posted on how it turns out.

    gps/radio navigation screen repair

Same for me, I didn't try the steering wheel controls until the next day, but it all worked out. Good luck

    gps/radio navigation screen repair

Does your steering wheel volume and seek controls still work, when I installed an SRX 6 disk changer on my 2007 V they were reversed. It might have been because it was out of a different year SRX. I switched the mother boards from the cd changers and then they worked as they should.

    Hi All!

Congratulations on your new toy. The only thing I would suggest is put some miles on it before you take l long trip just to see what shakes out. Also with only 15k miles I'm surprised there are issues with the shocks, I would wipe them clean, take your trip and then have someone else inspect...

    Help! XLR Tune

That makes sense and would explain the change in performance I noticed.

    Help! XLR Tune

I was disappointed that he didn't do a test run before we made the changes so we would have a baseline to compare it to. He did have concerns about the pump, so we switched it with one he had, but that was before we did the dyno runs. He said he refilled the coolant but the next day I checked it...

    Help! XLR Tune

It was the upper snout pulley changed to a 2.55in. Smooth Flow. I was there when he did the dyno pulls and I took pictures of the computer screen after each run, here are the numbers, Run #1 Max Power 373.21 at engine RPM = 5.74 Max Torque 382.80 at engine RPM =3.94 Run #2 Max Power 381.38 at...

    Help! XLR Tune

The name of the shop is SpeedLine Performance, in Ocala Florida and the owner is Michael Carpenter, he does the tuning. He said he does not have a tune for your specific car but could tune it similar to the way he did mine, that was making changes after each dyno run, there were 3 runs. I'm not...

    Help! XLR Tune

I had my 2007 V dyno tuned last year, the tech told me he was using HP tuner software. I don't believe HP had a "tune" for my car, the tech said he made his own tune. Take that for what it's worth, I don't know the guy personally, but I have no reason to doubt him. He is the owner of a local...

I'm not sure about that but maybe you could try to look up the part numbers and see if they match. I would think you could find the corvette number easy enough by just finding it on Rock auto, they usually show the part numbers there. The XLR might be a little harder to find unless it's on the...

New battery still won't come to life

There are only the two battery cables on my 2007 V, no additional wires. I agree with Mickeytee, you should at least be getting some lights so check your cable connections at both ends.

    Help prevent a robbery.

Not sure if I can help but I have a few questions. Did the top go up and down before you changed the lift cylinders? Did you change the cylinders or did someone else? If it worked before, then something you did, on purpose or by accident may have caused the problem, unless something else failed...

    Code P0174 "System Too Lean"

That's my concern also, if I spend that kind of money, I want to be able to use it on different vehicles. I'm looking at an Xtool, D7, I don't know anyone that has one but I have read some good reviews.

Thanks for the info on the VCX, I had changed my mind on that one and I'm still researching different units.

VVT solenoid actuator oil leak UPDATE

UPDATE After replacing the solenoid actuators I have noticed a dramatic increase in low end power. I don't race the car but I do like to get on it once in a while if I'm on an empty country road. Since I changed the actuators it overpowers the traction control and gets exciting real quick. In...
