Brakes sticking when warm (solved - pedal interference)

It's a Chinese clone and looks just like the original, it came with the GM card, Candi interface and TIS 2000. I purchased it on EBAY, I think it was a company called "cartooldeal", google that and you should find it. I paid $312 total delivered and so far it works fine for what I have wanted to...

Brakes sticking when warm (solved - pedal interference)

You need to identify the real problem, that's why I said a professional or someone that knows these newer systems. I always do it myself when I know what i'm doing but my fear is your problem is the ABS controller or some other module. The last thing I want to do is pretend to know what i'm...

Brakes sticking when warm (solved - pedal interference)

I agree with Mickeytee, brakes are nothing to "experiment" with when you really don't know what's causing the problem. Your temporary/ permanent fix sounds questionable, this may be a time to bite the bullet and leave it to the professionals. Safety first.

    Mild to Wild

I just bought a cheap switch and wired it into the exhaust control module, it works just like a mild to wild. Search "mild to wild" there are instructions some where in there that tells you exactly how to do it. I mounted it under the dash and ran the wire under the door sill back to the module...

    Fault codes - P2176 and P1516

I have the supercharged version so the throttle body is in between the firewall and the supercharger and hidden from view. On the 4.6 in your car I believe it's on the front of the engine so you should be able to see the connector once you remove the beauty cover.

    Cyliner head removal 2004 4.6

I had a leaking heater core in my 2007 V and it completely saturated the passenger side insulation under the carpet. It was like that when I bought it so I don't know how long it was leaking before the previous owner knew about it. I would think you could smell it and it is a long shot but it's...

Try programing the new transmitter, the procedure is in the owners manual in section 2, matching a new transmitter to your vehicle without a recognized transmitter.

Help! battery disconnected can't get in car

Search "fan connector" there is a post there that talks about how to get into your xlr with a dead battery. I'm not positive this will work for you as I have never tried it but it's worth a shot. You need to get under the front end on the back side of the radiator there is the fan module, if you...

Thanks Mickeytee, that little bit of information will be very helpful as I plan to change mine soon.

    SL bob

I think you're right about the water getting where it shouldn't and I would recommend not washing the car until you stop that from happening. I don't know the exact location of your problem but if you fry that controller in the trunk your wallet will get a lot lighter. I have no experience with...

    SL bob

I have not had that problem but I have had other electrical issues and all have been caused by bad connections or loose grounds. Assuming you have a good battery and have checked all fuses, that's where I would look first. You don't want to buy a new TCM, ECM or some other Control Module and...

    Tight Steering Knuckles/Ball Joints

I have a 2007 XLR V and I can't find anything on the tech2 for testing the steering but when I go to diagnostics and enter my car as a 2004, 5 or 6 I get different options and one is steering. When I click on that I get two options, variable effort steering and steering wheel and column. Click...

    Tight Steering Knuckles/Ball Joints

Like Mickeytee said it could be electrical. I searched code C0450 and it talks about a possible open, short to ground or short to voltage in the VES actuator or the circuits to the actuator. I also goggled the problem and one guy said he pulled the left front tire and found the wiring harness...

Help! Does the drive sun visor; Open /Close garage door opener have a battery in it?

I bought one at the dealer for $8, and they cut it copying my original. It's not like that it's just a plain blank without the black plastic.

    Programming key;Lower rear facia

Sorry, I had never heard the key being called a programing key before, if you had mentioned you were trying to program a key fob that would have made sense. I think the dealer can help you order a new key and maybe programing also. Good luck.

Help! Does the drive sun visor; Open /Close garage door opener have a battery in it?

No, I think it gets it's power from the car battery only. Check your owners manual to make sure.

    Programming key;Lower rear facia

I don't believe there is anything to program, it's just a plain key.
