I've had the same problem during the summer months here in NC. Can't explain it, but it has gone away.

Glad to meet you and to see you're getting some answers to your problems. I also own a black on black 08. The use of a battery tender is a good one! These cars seem to have a lot of battery drain when sitting.

Mickeytee, you saved me a trip to the repair facility! I got the "radar system needs to be serviced" message and after cleaning the inside of the cover per your suggestion, my problem was solved. Thanks again.

Sounds like it could just be a belt squeak. I'd wait to see if it doesn't go away on it's own.
