Glad to have you aboard! Looks like you've had all the model years with the most problems. I have an 08 that has not had any problems except for the center console broken hinge. That's probably due to a orevious owners carelessness.

Welcome! It looks like someone did a lot of customization. Everyone has their own taste in cars. The woodgrain accents are a little overdone and the wheels are definitely not stock. If you like the way it's done, enjoy it like it is, or change it to suit yourself. Either way, I hope you have fun...

You would think the dealer would stand by their work.

I replaced one door pad and, upon seeing how easy it was to clean the contacts, just repaired my other touch pad. Sorry I can't answer your trunk pad question a I haven't dealt with it. I look forward to seeing how difficult it is.

I gave my 05 T-Bird to my daughter so I could buy my XLR. She gets more comments about the Bird, but I love driving the XLR more. All used car prices are temporarily rising due to chip shortage, but this will come to an end. I drive mine regularly and don't expect to make money on it.

I don't think there is any extended warranty worth the cost. These outfits aren't about to lose any money.
