    man, sorry to hear that. That's why I made the thread last month about checking the drain. Mine was clogged with a screw and washer.

    Just installed 20" D'Vinci DV50 wheels with Pirelli P-Zero's. Front wheels are 20 x 9 et40 with 245/40-20 rears are 20 x 10 et 35 with 275/35-20. Just thought I'd share with my fellow xlr lovers :blinzel:

    If you don't have any noise coming from the rearend your car is probably fine or, maybe its already been done at the dealer if you had it in for service.

    Dockery- great pic. You beat me to it. I found a torx head screw in my drain that looks like it was probably dropped in there during assembly. The screw had no marks on it at all.

    make sure you pull up the carpet on the driver's side of the trunk and check the drain tube at the bottom of the well that houses sensitive electronics to make sure it is free and clear to drain off rainwater if you have a leaky trunk and you drive your XLR in that kind of weather.     I just changed my diff fluid a month ago with the LS fluid and now my diff is perfectly quiet and no grinding at all. It will take just under 2 quarts to fill.

    drove my car this morning for the first time after installing a c6 z51 rear sway bar. WOW, what a difference, feels a lot more like my c5z now. Thanks for the part numbers and torque specs Cadillac tech!

    I agree. I have one also and it worked great on my Z06. I haven't tried it on the XLR yet.
