Are the tires the OEM from the factory? If so they are WAY beyond service life. 5 years is the service life of tires. I went with Pirelli tires and do not have to worry about a blow out. Carry a 12v pump and plugs for emergency.

Did you scrub the ground terminals and area where they attach with stainless brush or sand paper and use dialectic grease on them? Check the PCM connections also.

Its a composite spring and they do get bad like anything else, you will need the "Leaf Spring" 10340617 stamped AKN or 15233394 stamped LPW.

The Tech can command the trunk release to unlock with the Tech 2 and that will tell if the latch is bad or the solenoid is not working. Trunk will unlock but lid will not go up.

Have you replaced the two hydraulic struts? They balance the weight of the trunk lid. If they are bad the trunk lid will not open correctly.
