    Extended Warranties Are Wonderful

Yes, I was interested in one when I bought this car, but bought from an individual so didn't have a "dealer" option. Did LOTS of research but could never find one I felt comfortable with after reading "reviews". Naturally most folks post negative reviews so those aren't always a good indicator...

    Extended Warranties Are Wonderful

You're a lucky man for sure!:thumbsup I decided to run "naked" and so far have not had any issues (been 6 mos) - but I know it's just a matter of time.

    What can it be?

I use a battery powered leaf blower! MUCH CHEAPER, easier to maneuver around the car, and I can blow leaves out of garage too!!:D

    2004 Cadillac XLR Rebuild

What a coincidence! Hope you have the same luck thru-out this rebuild. I'm afraid you're really gonna need it. Be interesting to see how much you wind up having in the car when you finish. Wish you the best. Should be an interesting trip!!:thumbsup

HRE 543R: Testing clearances on 2007 XLR

Well, I was surely hoping for a different outcome even though Id been told cutting would be required. At least it does look you have a good shop to handle this for you. Good luck. Cant wait to see photo.

HRE 543R: Testing clearances on 2007 XLR

Well damn, at least the riddle is solved. No true "stick-on". Wonder, is it possible to grind the back side down so you could just "stick on" and not have to cut into the fender panel?

New XTS,,,, Consumer Reports and J.D. Power say Avoid,,,,

I bought a new 2013 XTS - kept it 6 mos and traded on another F150 - much happier. The Ford dealer where I trade wound up wholesaling the XTS - couldn't sell it. That's my experience and don't know what may be different in the later models. I know of others who have the XTS and love it. It's...

HRE 543R: Testing clearances on 2007 XLR

Any update on the side vents? I've talked with both vendors on ebay and they both tell me their vents will not work on anything except 09's for some reason. Really interested in hearing from someone with firsthand knowledge as I'd like to order also.

05 XLR battery went dead now car is crazy...

I would STRONGLY suggest you contact the Insurance Commissioner and run this by them. Have had similar problems in the past and they WILL put a strong arm on the carrier if there is a chance they are avoiding payout on a "legitimate" claim. This won't cost you a dime and just may be helpful.
