trunk gas struts CC my 05 has gas struts beside the hyd cyl 4in forward of the hyd cyl. I think they hold the trunk open after the hyd cyl lifts the trunk as stated above,i can get part # if needed.

I've had several n*s starting with the original 93 allante up to the 05 xlr. they all leaked oil!! talk to the techs that service them they'll tell you gm got better at it over the years but never really cured the leakes on the n* engines. jmho.

But if they found the key would they know what to do with it and if they got in the trunk, opened the door how would they start it? I don't think they would think a fob was hidden in the car.all that would take to much time. also all around the underside is a steel chassis. I agree the pickup...

The early ps reservoirs [square shape] had a leak problem where the high press. hose conn. to the pump there's a bulletin tsb 3847 dated oct'07 also NHTSA 10019246. they also changed the res. square to round shape. the up grade changes to the new {round] res. and high press hose, hope this...

I'm in the same place,my gmpp ends end of feb '14.the selling dealer wants 3k for 3yrs/36,000 mi.it doesn't cover what you have.I have 52k on my 05. do most credit unions have these and what about the price? Thanks, Al

key I use a hide-a-key on the frame with a fob wrapped in foil so it won't be detected by the car. I keep it in the rear compartment.
