MPRCTCL, Thanks for your reply info. Did not realize that 2006 was first year for the steerable headlamps, but makes sense now. Seems like 2006 was the start of quite a few differences in these. I did not check to see if GM even still makes the visor mirrors or assembles. Maybe same as a C6 Vette?

jkwoodrow, The XLR is a lot easier to get in and out of than a Vette. They ride a bit more smoothly too, but they are not intended to be as sporty as the Vette, but more luxurious. Rexster, Thanks for additional information. I am thinking using the Seat Dr's dye would be best to start with. Did you dye them in the car then? And how did the dye hold up for you? I would think it should hold up well if the car is not driven daily.
