Someone hit my rear bumper (hit and run) and left some scars. Can the plastic be repaired to look like new or should the cover be replaced? There is one gash with some indentation, some other smaller indentations and some scuff marks/scratches. I'm going in for an estimate tomorrow. Any advice...

Thanks Bruce, I have taken your advice ever since you first recommended it. I also place a fan in front of the car (over kill?). Also, if anyone is wondering, the hood light goes out after awhile so you don’t have to worry about running the battery down.
