plus the heat plate between the exhaust and torque-tube... there are like 50 small bolts holding in place, and they get lose over time... when the chassis twists (like low speed turns) you can hear the plate pop when it moves around... you can get to most of them...
This cannot be done with a Tech2 - but can be done with aftermarket tuner systems like EFIlive and HPTuners. The options to adjust are available with both.
With that said - I suspect its not worth the effort since the tire diameter likely isn't that much different for whatever it is you're...
As far as the pressure is concerned, its not uncommon for fuel lines to to remain pressurized in modern cars with no returns. The service manual specifically says to de-pressurize when working on the fuel system as this behavior is expected.
GM bought back my first 2006 XLR-V - it was a nightmare car... I mean - it was a lemon if there ever was one... there were so many things wrong with it, it was comical.

Could be the cam sensors.... I would also check all the connections... and sometimes it could be a grounding problem which is a common problem with corrosion prone areas where it snows. may take quite a bit of work to track down.

you remove the wheels off the car, and you can push them out from the back - they are press-fit in.
There are some "tricks" to removing them from the front, but you risk damaging the wheels while prying them out
in the XLR its actually a generator, not an alternator... I don't quite understand the difference myself, but two things worth noting in the XLR Generator is that 1) its water cooled... and 2) its variable output and its controlled by the engine computer... from those two things we can presume...
It sounds like the car is going into "Run (no start)" - which happens when you hold the lower portion of the start button down for a few seconds...
I wonder if your start button is defective and needs to be replaced?
