My XLR is red as well with light shale interior. Instead of matching the interior I matched the outside and put in red mats. It looks really good.

There are a number of reasons why the check engine light comes on. You can get code reader at any auto parts store and see what code it throws. You may want to put on a new gas cap and see if that works.

Yes , it's the outside touch release with 2 screws. So take the screws out, unplug it and plug a new one in. Correct ?

The pad appears to be attached with 2 screws and you see them on the door jam.

I am ordering a new key pad for my passenger door and was told labor could be $300 plus if the door panel has to come off. I think a new pad can be put on without taking the panel off. Am I correct? John F.

I can't help you with a model because I have never had Perrelli's mainly because you can't get that many years out of them because they are a soft tire. If you get them please send me a personal message telling me how you like them. I just may go that route as well.

When you talk soft rides I think Perrelli's . It could be a good choice for me because I don't drive my car a lot and the Perrelli's don't last long because they are soft.

I put Vogue Tires on my XLR a number of years ago. They didn't have the yellow line for the car at that time. It had a gold V. I don't like the tires and will replace them with Continentals. They ride hard. I have an XLR-V with the Continentals and it's a much better ride.

How long is a long time without being started.

I have an 06 Base with Vogue Tires. I don't like them. I have had them for 5 years and the car is driven very seldom and that's why I haven't changed them. I also don't believe you can get the white and gold stripe on the XLR. I run Continentals on my 07 V and they are great tires. John F.

The individual you are questioning posted 2 years ago. I had that problem a number of years ago. Close the top manually and then open with the key fob. If that doesn't fix it you may have to get a top/ trunk relearn. John F.
