I had the OEM grille removed and put in and aftermarket "V" type grille. It came with a trim piece for the edge of the hood, chrome-like in appearance that was part of the grille package. I think it looks great. In fact, you don't even need a V Hood to install the grille!

Otherwise, you just might have to pay for it. I'm still looking for that console surround plate that looks like perforated metal. They dent easily I hear and this one already 3 dented areas when I bought the car for my wife in July LAST year! Good luck

i had a similar problem, went to the dealership and luckily they had a technician that worked on XLR's back when they were being produced and knew what to do. He too "re-learned" the program for the roof and it has worked fine ever since. There are some things I will "insist" the dealer fix...
