I have a 2005 XLR, 78k miles, metallic blue. Car is in great shape, has been driven 2-3k miles
in last 2 years.
Have replaced the complete suspension, shocks, and the
Ride stabilizer module, Front end, gaskets, too much
to list Have spent 7-8k. Runs great, just don’t need it after waiting...
My mechanic has been working on the ones we have, he is now saying the body control module, that might not be the exact title is not getting power out to the module. I don’t want to buy one of those modules, I’ll have him fill you in.
Simulators
I ordered the Casper simulators they didn’t match up, I’ve bought the shocks, the ones you sent me the link for I think on eBay. I will see about sway bar.
Thanks for all your help
Good luck, I’ve been looking for one that works for 4 months. Watch out for the East Coast modules eBay, they changed the price when I tried to pay for it. There were no guarantees, price went to 2k.
long tall sally has been a lot of help, we are replacing the new shocks adding the Casper...
Thanks, I’ll give that a shot.
Your comments regarding East Coast are dead on, he wouldn’t guarantee the module. Then he raised the price from 1650 to 2000
I appreciate that information. I replaced all the shocks I didn’t think about going to a regular suspension. Wouldn’t the message still appear regarding the suspension if you didn’t change out the module
Service module
I apologize it’s part #1304879 for a 2005, the 2005 corvette is the same design but different wiring.
It has been discontinued, the dealerships show it listed none of them have it.
thanks for your help
