I have a 05 xlr and am looking to put some different rims on other than the stock 7 spoke rims. I would like to put the xlr-v rims on my car, will they fit? If not what have others used to dress up there xlr? Would like to put chrome rims on just looking for ideas. Thanks Duane

Contacted them but they will only exchange the style of rim your wanting to replace. No exceptions i was told.

I have decided to get the 15 spoke rims for my 05 xlr and would like to sell the 7 spoke original rims that came on my car. Rims are in very good shape just a little scuff where center cap was removed. What are they worth? $500 plus shipping? Will entertain offers.

While my 05 was up on the rack getting the corsa exhaust system installed I was looking around under the car and noticed engine oil on the lower part of the engine. We investigated and the oil was running down the front of the motor from up high. It appears the oil is coming from the cam covers...

meant to add car only has 33,800 miles on it.

Steering question answered I took my car to the local cadillac dealership, they found a bulletin about the problem being with the posi-trac clutches sticking. They dropped the oil from the differential (really smelled) flushed it and replaced and drove to a vacant lot and did a figure 8...

If its losing that much coolant that fast there has to be a major problem but i to would be confused with no puddle under the car or a noticeable rise on the dipstick that doesnt make sense. Has to be one or the other.

Would like to put rims for a xlr-v on my 2005 basic xlr. Will they work ok without any modifications to the car?

I have a 2005 and live in Illinois where we are required to have a front license plate. Dont really want to drill into my bumper to install a front bracket. Does anyone have one of the hide a plate on there xlr? If so how do they work? Motorized or do it yourself. Thanks

Its the front it feels like it is locked in to all or 4 wheel drive.

I have a new to me 2005 with 33000 miles on it and whenever i turn hard right ot left from a stop it feels like my 4wheel drive truck that is in 4wheel drive. Is this normal? If not what do you think is the problem. It feels like it is trying to hop. Thanks

Hope this doesnt sound like a stupid question but the 2005 XLR that i just recently purchased has the letters BVLGARI above the speedometer and also on the key fobs. What does this mean? Is it on every XLR and does it increase the value? Thanks for your responses.

GOT IT! just wanted to update i am no longer looking I traded our cts for a 2005 Black Raven with 33,000 miles on it. Let the fun begin. Any advice or things I need to know?
