License plate holder operation In case anyone is interested, here's a little video that shows the operation of the front license plate holder on my car. YouTube

    2008 XLR-V, Black Raven/Ebony, 25K miles

The car is bone stock, including the "Supercharged" lettering on the doors. Only "modifications" are that addition of a Parrot device which allows hands-free phone use and Bluetooth connectivity so you can stream music from your phone, and the remote controlled electrically operated front...

    Installing W/shield Interior Pillar Trim

Tips on Installing Interior Pillar Trim One side of my pillar trim had bubbling of the leather covering. I just got my new right hand trim piece for my '08 V, I would be very interested in any tips before I tackle the swap. Thanks, Joe

    IGL Kenzo Ceramic Coating

I got lucky when I finally found my V. It had 23K miles, and a remarkably blemish-free body. When I picked the car up at a Cadillac dealer in Ohio in January it was zero degrees. The car was outside waiting for me, and I just paid and hit the road...too cold for a rigorous inspection. But...

    Weather strip...again

No luck with Krytox, Gummi Pfledge, Back-to Black or Zaino tire dressing. The problem is the residual coating, apparently applied at the factory, that gave the weatherstrip a glossy appearance has come off in many places. I suppose, like some others, I'll have to just scrub the rest off...then...

Tiny dents in the aluminum console bezel

I have a fairly minor issue with the aluminum trim near the shift quadtrant. I have a handful of minor indentations, almost as if the PO had a nervous habit of tapping a pen or something on the aluminum trim. I looked at trying to get a replacement bezel, but can only find the whole console...

    Help! Retractable License Plate Kit

Finally Got it Working... I bought this retractable license plate holder from West Coast Corvette. Its kind of rickety, and came with the cable cut, so I had to buy some fishing leader wire and re-do it. Also, the hardware pack was incomplet so I had to use my own mounting screws. But, in the...

If you have a XLR-V, who built your engine?

Bruce Elam...glad it was built by a guy who enjoyed his work.

    2007 XLR-V on Barrett-Jackson

$45K hammer price + buyer's premium (10% for absentee bidders) = $49,5. (all in price)

    2007 XLR-V on Barrett-Jackson

Actually $49,500.00 all in.....Very strong price, in my view. I've felt for a while that V's might have reached a floor and this price seems above what I would have thought retail for this car. But, its hard to take too much away from a single BJ auction price. I suppose the sale of the white...

    '08 XLR-V, 10K, $69,999.00

Nice car, but maybe a bit optimistic on the asking price. Two will be auctioned this week at BJ in Scottsdale; an '07 Xenon Blue/Tan, and an '09 White/Black with very low miles...less than 10K, I think. Extremely Rare 2008 Alpine White Limited Edition Cadillac XLR-V - cars & trucks - by owner...

    Parrot Bluetooth Interface Device

Howdy, When I picked up my car last week, I was pleasantly surprised to find a Parrot already installed. I didn't know much about the device, but have been investigating since arriving back home. I believe what I have is the MKi9000, but there is no small LCD display...at least not now. There...
