Where is the linkage at the transmission?

UPDATE:
In an attempt to test the circuits from the connector to see if power was getting to the circuit board, I took off the cover again. My probes were too small so that was aborted.
THEN, when everything was put back together the shifter would not come out of PARK! Took everything apart...

Using an '06 with 40k as a baseline for $20,000. For each year up or down I'd move that by $1,000. Also, $1,000 for each 10,000 miles. So, a '07 with 30k, would be $22,000 in this example.
An '04 with 60K would be $16,000.
Of course condition, pedigree and distance from MD can...
I have owned Caddy's from a 1948 to a 2021 and many in between. Prefer a XLR from 2006+ and ~50,000 mi or less. I do not object to some reno work but do not want to spend the next 3 yrs getting it presentable.
