Thats a bypass but not recommended. As these cars only get damage to the engineering nes when they are run hot, watching cooling level is very important. Tgey also can develop acsmall keak in the return hose that is hardly seen and over time will loose enough coolant to run hot.

I dont think its the alarm. Its been stated the car constantly looks for the fob plus several other features than run off and on that drain the battery. A tender is what most people do to fix the issue.

Did you check the fluid? That low of miles id assume not driven often. Id start with trunk struts. Does the trunk open ok by itself? Once up if you pull it down a little , will it stay. How far did you get with the top before you stopped.
