Hi ken sorry im still in maryville. I thought the meet was later next month. i wanted to do your jewel ghts for you but just not doing well with my health.
You can buy the bushings at any auto parts store. They fit a jeep . you dont want them trying to replace the one at the shifter. The one at the transmission is the one that goes bad. If they try to replace the front one, they will most likely break the cable . the rear one takes about ten minutes
Its just a bushing in the cable. Eady fix. Any transmission shop can do it. Anybody can replace the bushing. The dealer is trying to make a 100$ repair into a 1000$ to buy a used cable and then replace.
Strange problem. If the bulb is out it will hyperflash. If there is a break in the circuit then you get an error message. Im thinking bad bulb or socket. If you unplug the harness see what happens is the drl burning? Same bulb different circuit
The original poster said he cleaned theglue upnand it looks like new. All the ones i tried the leather shrank and even pouring on the hyde food and soaking it to restreach. After using the best adhesive you can get for leather, in a week it had shrank right back to where it was. I made new ones...
Ive never done that but other than getting the light and speed reduction you should not have a problem. Be careful when removing the rear shocks the connector on top is fragil and can break. Even thou you dont need it someone in the future will and they have good value.
